Political Order, Law, and the First Commandment
One of the maxims of R.J. Rushdoony’s thesis is that there is no other foundation for the life of the human society than God Himself. In his exposition of the First Commandment Rushdoony seeks to plant his reader deeper and deeper in this understanding that there is no other authority to which man can or should seek to ground his political life than the Law of God.
In the next 5 posts I will examine more closely Rushdoony’s arguments for this position.
